Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of Psychiatrist:
- Maintain overall clinical responsibility for the mental health programs within the facility.
- Oversee the completion of mental health screenings and evaluations.
- Perform sick call visits and chronic care visits.
- Conduct rounds in all units.
- Formulate a working diagnosis, develop and implement a treatment plan, and evaluate/modify therapeutic regimens to promote positive patient outcomes.
- Coordinate, lead, and participate in educational training activities related to mental health care.
Qualifications:
Qualifications of Psychiatrist:
- Must hold a current, unrestricted Psychiatrist license in NV.
- Current DEA registration.
- A valid CPR card.
- Board certification.
- Eligible or qualified by the state laws/regulations to practice psychiatry.
- Must have a minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in primary care specialty of psychiatrist with administrative experience.
- Must possess strong written communication and verbal skills.
- Must have strong computer skills.
