Johnson & Johnson is currently recruiting for a Director, Cyber Defense Engineering. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to lead our efforts in enhancing our cybersecurity posture through innovative automation solutions. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of cybersecurity principles, extensive experience in automation technologies, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the team in defining and implementing a strategy for comprehensive defensive automation to strengthen cybersecurity risk position.
- Mentor the team and manage partners to advance skills and streamline processes through automation and AI.
- Develop and implement a comprehensive automation strategy to strengthen cybersecurity defense mechanisms.
- Oversee the development of automated workflows, playbooks, and tools to streamline security operations.
- Evaluate and recommend cybersecurity tools and technologies that enhance automation capabilities.
- Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the effectiveness of automation initiatives.
Qualifications:
- BA/BS or equivalent experience.
- A minimum of 8 years of cyber intelligence experience and industry-leading frameworks.
- 5 years’ experience in security defense leadership.
- Strong understanding of security frameworks, compliance standards, and best practices (e.g., NIST, ISO, CIS).
- Proficiency in automation tools and technologies (e.g., SOAR platforms, scripting languages, orchestration tools).
- Excellent executive intelligence writing and briefing skills.
