Job Description:
Directs and generates business opportunities for an Aerospace division. Responsible for multiple programs with high earnings and revenue accountability and complex products and sub-systems. Works with business teams, other divisions, and current and potential customers to promote company technologies, products, and services to meet customer needs and to determine how the division's capabilities can be leveraged into additional markets.

Reporting to the Division Marketing & Strategy Leader, this role will be a catalyst for strategic growth in the Aerospace Aftermarket. They will be responsible for SSO Division strategy development and deployment, market intelligence, Industry Partnerships, as well as Product Improvement & Retrofit (PI&R) Program Management.
- Manages inputs for Quarterly and Annual growth plan and Annual Market Segment presentations, as well as supports division strategic planning and deployment process.
- Recommends the aftermarket route to market strategy to maximize market share and consider development and ownership of Channel partners.
- Responsible for executing partnership strategy inclusive of business case development and approval and subsequent negotiation and management of third-party partnerships.
- Develops make versus buy business cases and partnership agreements.
- Develops and leads execution of a credible (PI&R) product line for our Commercial business.
- Determines the need for cross-division teaming and external strategic partner/alliances to gain business.
- Conducts competitive research, evaluates sales performance, and formulates goals and milestones for specific products and systems.
- Serves as the liaison with Regional/Group Marketing to resolve issues and build growth plans.
- Develops and maintains relationships with customers to gain knowledge of future market and customer needs.
- Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing trade and technical publications, and participating in professional associations.
- Shares specialized knowledge with others and represents Company on specific projects.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's degree (BA) in Marketing, Engineering, or related field, and Aerospace Aftermarket experience. Demonstrated ability to perform the essential functions of the job typically acquired through ten or more years of increasingly responsible experience, including five or more years of high-level program management and established customer contacts.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Comprehensive knowledge of principles, industry practices, company products, technology, regulations, service capabilities, and policies related to marketing and business development.
- Knowledge of program management and business processes and procedures.
- Ability to work on complex problems and understand them from a broad, long-term perspective.
- Ability to effectively present information to top management and customers.
Please note that the salary range information is only applicable for California. Compensation is based on a variety of factors, candidate experience, qualifications, location as well as market and business considerations. Pay Range: $130,240 - $227,982.
This role is subject to compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR) and the Export Administration Regulations (EAR).
