Role Purpose
This role has responsibility for safety, financial, leadership and operational performance of the Stations, both Fuel Farms and Into-plane, Menzies Aviation operations managed through “JIG standard” in Europe, reporting directly to VP Operations Fuels.
The post holder is expected to deliver excellent working relationships with all key stakeholders, customers, airport authorities and third-party suppliers. In addition, they will lead and manage the performance and development of direct reports and site staff.
Working as part of the wider management team, the post holder will be expected to contribute to and deliver our customer HSSE and commercial business plans.
What you will be doing
- Be responsible for the management of all operational activity for the Stations operating under JIG Standard, in line with Menzies Aviation and Customers requirements and SLAs.
- Develop, contribute to, and agree service delivery standards internally and externally.
- Monitor and report on Stations' performance against the applicable standards and ensure appropriate corrective actions are taken to ensure customer requirements are consistently met.
- Ensure accurate and timely reporting of accidents and near-misses as per SMS and customer and business requirements, support investigations and release reports for internal use and/or for Customer feedback.
- Keep adherence to SSPs and address/report as appropriate.
- Ensure that the management of the Tank Farm facilities is operated and maintained in accordance with customer (i.e. JIG) and regulatory authority (e.g. HSE, Customs) standards.

What we are looking for
- Demonstrable experience of Health, Safety, Security & Environmental Management.
- Significant experience in an Aviation Operational Management position.
- Proven experience in developing and maintaining effective working relationships, with business partners, airport authorities and suppliers.
- Proven extensive experience in team leadership and development.
- Ability to work under pressure and time constraints.
- Ability to prioritise workload in order of urgency and importance.
- Excellent Communication skills written and oral.
- Proficient in all Microsoft applications.
- Knowledge of Fuels Technical Service.
- Knowledge of Fuels Supply / Distribution Logistics.
- Demonstrable skills and experience of Product handling and control.
- Working knowledge of general business management.
