Citi Commercial Cards is the leading provider of Commercial Cards solutions to marquee, multi-national organizations and public sector organizations offering card solutions in 100 countries. Citi Commercial Cards' Travel & Entertainment (T&E) and Business-to-Business (B2B) solutions form the core of the expense management strategies for thousands of corporate card programs.
This role is part of the Global Product Team, with responsibility for product positioning, business management, sales enablement, and partnership/alliance development for Citi’s corporate T&E solutions. The T&E solution set forms the core product of Citi’s Commercial Card business and strategy, touching more than 5 million cardholders globally and thousands of corporate and public sector card programs in every region. This position will have senior-level exposure and play a leading role in managing the current portfolio and product set and determining the long-term strategy for our T&E solutions globally.
The Global T&E Product Management Head oversees the portfolio of T&E commercial card solutions and services, including traditional “walking plastic” corporate travel cards, Central Travel (“lodged”) Accounts, and Virtual Cards for Travel. The role will also help develop and manage a customer experience strategy, support mobile enablement initiatives including our mobile app and online tools, self-service initiatives, and communications and training for cardholders and program administrators. The T&E product manager will also help develop and expand partnerships and alliances within the T&E ecosystem to create alliances/partnerships with leading and emerging providers, and develop innovative and turn-key solutions between Citi Commercial Cards and other players in the sharing economy, travel, and payments networks.
Responsibilities:
- This is a senior role which is part of the Global Product Team, with ownership of T&E product strategy, product positioning, business management, sales enablement, and partnership/alliance development and management.
- This position will have significant senior-level exposure and play a leading role in managing the current T&E portfolio and product set, and determining long-term strategy as well as the allocation of investment dollars to execute the strategy globally.
- As a Global T&E Product Management Head, this role will oversee product strategy for a portfolio of solutions and services.
- The role will also be responsible for Customer Experience, defining our strategy and overseeing the execution of the underlying initiatives.
- This role will be required to drive action across the organization (especially other functions: Operations, Technology, Sales, Control Functions etc.) in order to achieve goals and ensure that a BAU operational model is in place.
- The Global T&E Product Management Head will also lead development and expansion of partnerships and alliances within the product ecosystem to create innovative and turn-key solutions between Citi products and other players in the ecosystem.
- Management will look to this person to be an ambassador for the T&E product both internally and to the marketplace.
- The successful candidate must be both a leader and a team player, working with regional Product teams, Product Sales and Account Management, and functional teams globally.
- The Global Product Manager will also work with internal partners to drive the visibility and positioning of the product.
- Financial and performance objectives will be set consistent with product and business objectives.
- Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards.
- Role will have daily interaction with regional (US and non-US) teams. Some travel should be expected.
Qualifications:
- 15+ years of experience, including 8-10+ years' managerial experience.
- Knowledge of industry players and ecosystem, as well as industry networks preferred.
- The incumbent will work closely with regional product teams to set and track annual spend and revenue targets, and will be expected to support client discussions to help drive wins, program growth and new deal ramp.
Education:
- Bachelor’s/University degree, Master’s degree preferred.
