JOB TITLE: Chief Compliance Officer, KBNA Swap Dealer
JOB DESCRIPTION
The Swap Dealer Chief Compliance Officer (CCO) is a senior compliance risk position responsible for leading a compliance program that ensures KeyBank NA (KBNA) Swap Dealer employees understand and comply with all required rules and regulations. The position is part of a second line of defense compliance program tasked with developing business plans, policies and procedures and as needed, providing support various projects to improve program efficiencies. The Swap Dealer CCO oversees a team of compliance professionals responsible for maintaining core compliance programs in support of Swap Dealer lines of business, as well as the KeyCorp risk management infrastructure.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
- Designated CCO for KeyBank NA's registered Swap Dealer, which provides Interest Rate swaps, Commodity hedging and Foreign Exchange transactions for clients across the Key enterprise.
- Leads a team of 4 compliance professionals responsible for all aspects of Swap Dealer compliance, including Swap Data Repository (SDR) reporting, trade surveillance, and trade reconstruction.
- Senior position in Key's Risk Management infrastructure reporting to CCO of Institutional Bank and Swap Dealer Management.
- Will oversee conversion of Swap Dealer core systems, including back office consolidation for derivatives, FX, and collateral, as well as implementation of new swap transaction surveillance platform.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
- Strong understanding of Interest Rate swaps, Commodity hedging, and Foreign Exchange transactions.
- Significant experience with CFTC/NFA swap dealer regulations, including SDR reporting and trade execution.
- Thorough understanding of industry trends and strong connection to resources for timely regulatory intelligence.
- Ability to analyze evolving regulatory guidance, effectively communicate to senior management, and implement change proactively.
- Familiarity with back office and transactional systems.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS
This position is eligible to earn a base salary in the range of $200,000 to $235,000 annually depending on location and job-related factors such as level of experience. Compensation for this role also includes eligibility for short-term incentive compensation and deferred incentive compensation subject to individual and company performance.
