This role will focus on driving sales not only directly to residents but also through building strong relationships with resident managers and external retail partner leadership. This role will display sales leadership, strategic partnerships, and make a meaningful impact within communities.
This is a commission-based pay position, responsible for selling products and services at our sales kiosks, community events, and retail partner stores.
Essential Functions:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy tailored to engage both residents and property/resident managers within the community.
- Collaborate with property management teams to coordinate sales events, promotions, and other initiatives that drive resident engagement and sales.
- Lead and mentor a team of Community Sales Representatives, providing guidance and support to ensure sales targets are met or exceeded.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to expand our network and visibility within the community.
- Educate residents about the features and benefits of our offerings, addressing any questions or concerns they may have.
- Build and maintain a network of loyal customers within the community through exceptional customer service and follow-up.
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities and resident interactions using our CRM system.
Education:
Four years of High School or equivalent.
0 to 2 years in a related field.
Previous experience in direct sales, customer service, or community outreach is advantageous but not required.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
Self-motivated with a positive attitude and a drive to succeed.
Excellent communication and presentation skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
Comfortable working outdoors and in various weather conditions.
Access to reliable transportation for traveling within the community.
Flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
Special Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Able to absorb and demonstrate a thorough understanding of a broad range of products, services, procedures, and systems.
- Superior consultative selling skills, needs assessment skills, problem-solving skills, and integrative thinking.
- The sales rep must be a self-motivator, able to work with minimal supervision and effectively educate customers about Hawaiian Telcom's products and services.
Base Salary Range: $40,000.00-$56,000.00 (plus uncapped commissions)
Supervisory Responsibility:
This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
