- The Service Sales Director - Semiconductor Service, is accountable for spearheading the profitable growth of the US Semiconductor service business. This includes identifying and expanding new OnTool (Fab) and Sub-Fab Service offerings. The role involves formulating and executing commercial strategies and proposals, as well as overseeing key account plans and market sector plans for North America Semiconductor Service. Additionally, the Sales Director will serve as the Voice of the Customer, providing strategic guidance for product development and deployment.
What We Expect of You?
- Leads the development of service revenue, margin targets, forecasts, and performance measurements to report achievements.
- Defines annual service share and penetration targets in collaboration with Business Line Managers and the Customer Center General Manager.
- Acts as a key member of the US Customer Center Service management team, developing the infrastructure and resources required to deliver Customer Center and Divisional strategies.
- Manages all aspects of Service regional pricing policy and discount entitlement management (services and spares) within global guidelines, in collaboration with Equipment Business Line management, to achieve an optimal balance between market share and business profitability in the region.
- Oversees, coordinates, and reports on the implementation of new Service Products and Service Marketing campaigns in the region.
- Directs the development and delivery of marketing collateral materials for Edwards Service, Sales, Customer Care staff, channel partners, and Distributors as appropriate.
- Develops financial models to quantify and demonstrate the value of performance-based service contracts to customers, quantify anticipated risks and rewards for the business, and monitor and report the actual performance of executed contracts.
- Establishes, measures, and reports revenue, margin targets, and forecasts.
- Supports the service supply chain forecasting and Service Technology Centers (STCs) to achieve share and penetration targets.
- Develops regional pricing and discounting policy within global guidelines.
- Oversees, coordinates, and reports on the implementation of new service products and marketing campaigns.
- Collaborates with service and sales teams to define and present service plans and proposals for key customers, ensuring plans are reviewed regularly and adapted as needed to meet targets.
- Gathers and analyzes information on equipment and competitors in the region to propose strategies and build customer preference for Edwards over alternatives.
- Maintains punctual, regular, and predictable attendance; works collaboratively in a team environment with a spirit of cooperation.
- Provides leadership and direction to the team, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and objectives.
Education level:
- Bachelor's degree in technical discipline or equivalent experience.
Relevant Previous experience:
- Minimum of 8+ years in advanced technology environment.
- Minimum of 5+ years in marketing, product management or other commercially-oriented role in a service business or Business-to-Business Sales.
Knowledge areas/Skills:
- MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Other requirements:
- Availability for travel within US
- Strong analytical, prioritizing, interpersonal, problem-solving, presentation, budgeting, project management (from conception to completion), & planning skills.
- Excellent communication and administrative skills.
- Excellent customer facing skills.
- Customer facing managerial experience preferred.
