We are looking to hire an SAP MDG Engagement Director for the Global Consulting Practice. The role will be responsible for the planning, execution, and management of complex and large transformation engagements at company clients. They will be required to coordinate the work of the company and client team members for one or more projects and will be accountable for the successful delivery of all phases, releases, and project components for transformation projects. The role will be responsible for overall quality, engagement, and adherence to the schedule and budget for the project. It will be expected that the candidate demonstrates end-to-end business process knowledge in Data & Analytics processes.
*Responsibilities:
- Lead the design, build, testing, and deployment of changed or new business processes enabled by the SAP S/4 solutions.
- Lead business workshops with key stakeholders and drive results in line with the project plan.
- Provide business process solutions to meet clients’ business priorities and requirements within the context of industry leading practices.
- Contribute to project planning and execution according to objectives, specifications, schedules, and quality standards.
- Develop implementation schedules, system implementation planning, and execution.
- Ensure project success criteria are met.
- Build strong relationships with IT/business peers and management to best meet company goals and objectives.
- Assist in defining, designing, governing, and delivering solutions to meet client requirements while working closely with the client and other business process leads.
- Provide accurate estimates, timelines, and the ability to self-direct and mentor/manage teams and clients.
- Mentor junior team members and be hands-on if required.
- Leverage and build assets/accelerators and thought leadership.
- Provide solutions and model solutions based on client needs, priorities, and industry leading practices.
- Lead/Collaborate in scoping prospective engagements and developing proposals.
*Qualifications:
- Experience leading large global S/4HANA business transformation program delivery as a Data Lead with a proven track record and a deep understanding of business values of transformation programs/objectives.
- Strong data lead with experience in data governance, SAP MDG, and data migration.
- Ability to manage a large team of functional and technical resources.
- Experience leading sales opportunities.
- Previous professional experience with SAP S/4HANA with deep knowledge of master data elements in SAP, leading practices on data migration, and data governance approaches.
- Experience managing and implementing SAP MDG implementations with hands-on experience establishing a governance/management framework for organizations.
- Proven ability to lead workshops with clients and other business process leads.
- Deep understanding of industry-specific KPIs and benefits of S/4HANA functionality to enable the business.
- Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
- Expert-level knowledge of SAP data elements (both master and transactional), data structures, industry-leading data migration tools, and approaches.
- Ability to self-direct and mentor/manage consulting and client team members.
- Demonstrated experience in managing transformational initiatives.
- At least five (5) full life cycle implementations as an ERP Project Manager with multi-module implementations (Finance, Sales, Production, Purchasing, Warehouse).
- A minimum of ten (10) years prior transformational ERP consulting or equivalent industry experience.
- At least six (6) years’ experience in proposal and business case development.
- Proven sales experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and teamwork abilities, capable of building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Experience managing 20+ resources.
- Willingness to travel up to 100%.
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent required.
