Courage to Connect Therapeutic Center, a private mental health practice, is seeking a Licensed Clinician for the position of Clinical Director. This is a newly created role for our rapidly growing organization and offers the opportunity to be part of the administrative team as well as running the clinical program for multiple sites.
The Clinical Director position will be a multi-faceted role requiring excellent leadership, supervision, organization, development, and growth of all centers. The Clinical Director is responsible for the clinical leadership within the organization, including overseeing the management of 35+ individual therapists, reviewing treatment plans and notes, creating group therapy curriculums, crisis management, risk assessment, and supporting all clinical services provided by psychological testing, counseling team, and soon to be launched Psychiatry team.
Responsibilities:
- Maintain a small caseload of clients and meet minimum weekly billing requirements.
- Manage and direct all aspects of the clinical side of the practice.
- Serve as ongoing Primary Supervisor for associate level therapists and interns, signing off on all clinical observations and supervisory notes.
- Provide ongoing individual and group supervision for associates while developing and delivering training to all new hires.
- Responsible for interviewing, hiring, training therapists, planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance, rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.
- Oversee therapists in the associate therapy program and adherence to their agreed upon job responsibilities.
- Work closely with the operations team and leadership to develop and implement improvement initiatives and changes as needed to enhance the quality of care and services.
- Provide direction and support to the leadership team in developing and launching the Psychiatry Department.
- Facilitate bi-monthly department meetings to maintain streamlined operational workflow and integration of new policies, procedures, systems, or changes in program structure.
- Support therapy providers in facilitating and documenting proper assessments, recommendations, and referrals.
- Oversee clinical supervisors and the management of associated team members.
- Responsible for maintaining hiring needs for specified clinic.
- Participate in growth initiatives to provide a variety of specialized care for all clients.
- Consistently adhere to HIPAA and APA guidelines for proper implementation of ethical, legal, and cultural standards of care.
Experience:
- Master’s Degree or above in areas of Clinical Psychology, Counseling Psychology, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy.
- Hold the following licenses: LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, PhD.
- Minimum of three (3-5) years’ experience in psychiatric or mental health field.
- Minimum of three (3) years’ experience in advanced clinical management or leadership of practice setting preferred.
- Experience working with Mental Health and Psychiatry Team.
License/Certification:
- LCPC, LCSW, LMFT, PsyD, or PhD (Preferred).
