About this Opportunity:
The IT Director has responsibility for all IT-related staff, infrastructure, hardware, data security, and software across all sites and IT integration of future acquisitions. This will include providing leadership and guidance to the staff and ensuring that all business and production IT systems are designed, operating, and maintained at an acceptable level.
Responsibilities:
- Develops, executes, and maintains an IT roadmap for all sites; to include hardware, software, information security, and ERP systems.
- Assesses business requirements for all departments to determine their technology needs.
- Assesses, monitors, and optimizes network and data security across the enterprise.
- Continually evaluates capability and capacity of resources and adjusts as necessary to meet the needs of the business.
- Works to integrate and harmonize IT systems, services, assets, and procedures across the enterprise.
- Establishes efficiency and/or effectiveness KPI’s for IT resources and systems.
- Becomes subject-matter expert for Infor Visual Manufacturing ERP system from an IT perspective.
- Proactively researches, identifies, and proposes IT solutions to senior management to enable increased efficiency and/or value creation in the business.
Requirements / Skills:
- Requires a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or a closely related degree.
- 8 years of experience in an IT leadership role including management of direct reports. Additional experience may be substituted for part of the education requirement, or advanced degree can be substituted for part of the experience requirement.
- Excellent leadership and decision-making skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills at all levels of an organization.
- Requires extensive knowledge of the following:
- Multi-site IT management and integration.
- M&A IT Due Diligence.
- ERP systems (Infor Visual Manufacturing preferred).
- Ability to analyze workflows and develop solutions to improve and automate.
- Proficient in latest IT systems, strategies, and management.
- Thorough understanding of, and direct experience with, IT as it relates to a high-growth, multi-site, complex manufacturing enterprise.
- Demonstrated project management skills, involving both internal and external resources.
