Your role
As the Director of Enterprise Business Applications, you will be a key leader responsible for overseeing the strategy, implementation, and management of all enterprise-level business applications within the organization. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the effective utilization of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency, drive innovation, and support the achievement of business objectives. This role reports directly to the CIO.
What you’ll do
Strategic Leadership:
- Develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the organization's enterprise business applications, aligning with overall business goals and objectives.
- Collaborate with executive leadership to understand business needs and identify opportunities for technology-driven improvements.
- This leader will help define the Application Development Roadmap and Reference Architecture(s) for the entire enterprise.
Application Portfolio Management and support:
- Oversee the full lifecycle of enterprise applications, from evaluation and selection to architecture, implementation, maintenance, and retirement.
- Manage a diverse portfolio of applications such as ERP systems (Netsuite), CRM platforms (Salesforce), HRIS, financial management systems, and more.
- Hands-on expertise in Go To Market, Customer Success business processes and its supporting applications in B2B and B2C business models.
- Provide technical guidance in enterprise applications such as Salesforce and Netsuite.
Team Leadership:
- Lead and mentor a team of IT professionals, including application architects, project managers, developers, and support global staff.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement within the team.
Project Management:
- Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects related to enterprise applications, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.
- Identify and mitigate risks associated with application implementations and upgrades.
Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure that all applications adhere to industry best practices, data security standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Implement proper change management processes to minimize disruptions during system updates.
- Implement ITGC controls and SOX compliance across all key applications.
Business Process Optimization:
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to identify opportunities for process optimization and automation through technology.
- Leverage enterprise applications to streamline workflows and enhance operational efficiency.
Stakeholder Communication:
- Communicate effectively with executive leadership, business unit heads, and other stakeholders to provide updates, gather feedback, and ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business goals.
Who are you?
- Bachelor's or master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field (advanced degree preferred).
- Proven experience (8+ years) in leading and managing enterprise business application teams in a complex SaaS environment.
- Strong understanding of various enterprise applications, such as ERP, CRM (Salesforce), and financial systems.
- Solution architecture experience in Salesforce is highly preferred.
- Proven experience in streamlining business processes and automations is a must.
- Demonstrated ability to develop a culture that adopts change and challenges historic paradigms.
- Solid project management skills with a track record of successfully delivering large-scale technology projects.
- Experience in Agile methodology and running daily scrums.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to align technology initiatives with business objectives.
- Experience in vendor management, contract negotiation, and relationship building.
- In-depth knowledge of data security, compliance, and governance best practices.
- Ability to adapt to changing technological landscapes and industry trends.
- Experienced in building, coaching, and leading global teams.
- Architect certifications in Salesforce and other relevant technologies is highly desired.

$210,100 - $259,000 USD
