Overview
The Physician Affiliate Group of New York (PAGNY) is adding a Part Time Psychiatrist - Child/Adolescent to the group at NYC Health + Hospitals/Harlem. The Hospital is part of the NYC Health + Hospitals. Harlem Hospital is a designated Level 1 Trauma Center and is recognized for providing centers of excellence in the areas of Bariatric Surgery, Breast Imaging and Sexual Assault Forensics. Our teams provide services for nearly 213,000 outpatient visits, more than 83,000 emergency room visits and over 13,000 inpatient admissions annually.
The hospital maintains a strong academic affiliation with Columbia University Vagelos College of Physicians and Surgeons.

Responsibilities
- Provide psychiatric management for children and teens, ages 5-18, in an outpatient setting.
- Day Shift 9AM TO 5PM - Part-time .525 - Total hours per week 21 hours.
- Develop treatment plans and manage electronic medical record (EPIC) in accordance with New York State Office of Mental Health and other regulations.
- Provide clinical services to outpatient minors in an outpatient and pediatric emergency medicine services.
- Provide clinical supervision to psychiatry residents and medical students.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary treatment team in management of complex cases.
Qualifications
- M.D. or D.O. from an accredited school of medicine.
- License to practice medicine in the State of New York.
- ACGME accredited residency in Psychiatry and Child/Adolescent Psychiatry.
- ABPN certification (or eligibility if within five years of graduation) in Psychiatry and Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
Wages and Benefits include:
Annual Base Salary: $129,780* (board eligible); $135,030* (board certified) based on 21-hour work week. Additional compensation available for extra call or sessional/per diem hours.
The annual total value of the compensation package is estimated at $267,758** (board eligible) and $273,533** (board certified), which includes the baseline salary, 401(k) contribution, sessional/per diem hours, and other factors as set forth below:
- Estimated annual compensation for 10 additional sessional/per diem hours worked per week is $104,000***.
- Projected bonus of up to $21,000 (based on previous year's average), contingent upon meeting quality and productivity targets.
- 401(k) Company Contribution (subject to IRS contribution limits):
- Employees are immediately vested in a 3% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- After one year of service, employees receive an additional 7% company contribution of base earnings. No employee match is required.
- Annual Continuing Medical Education (CME) Reimbursement.
