We are seeking to recruit band 5 staff nurses to join our teams on Ward 26 Gastroenterology, within the Responsive Care Group.

Gastroenterology is split between wards 26 & 27 with links to specialist services across the organisation. We work closely with the Emergency department, Emergency Admission Unit, acute medical wards, and specialist teams to ensure our patients receive timely, safe, and high-quality care.
Main duties of the job
The role of a Staff Nurse is to support in the assessment, planning, delivery, and evaluation of high-quality nursing care. Working as part of a multidisciplinary team, the staff nurse will ensure patients receive the highest level of care, delivered using a holistic, patient-focused approach while ensuring high standards of documentation are maintained.
We have a highly skilled and experienced team within Gastroenterology and have an excellent band 5-development pathway for all new staff starting within the care group, making this the perfect learning environment for developing your skills.
You will be working within a strong and organised team under the supervision of the ward matron, deputy ward matron, and co-ordinators.
