We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to join the Oncology Department at Lincoln County Hospital. This is a fantastic opportunity which brings with it the option of splitting your time between working in the office and working from home following a rota.
Main duties of the job
The medical secretarial team provides a comprehensive service to the Consultants and their teams and is essential in the provision of a high quality patient experience. The post-holder will support the administration and secretarial teams with their day-to-day duties.
The successful applicant will be an enthusiastic team player and an experienced typist, and will be required to have GCSE English grade C or equivalent as well as typing and word processing skills to RSA level 2, including audio typing experience. A flexible approach to work is required and an ability to get on with others in a team based environment.

Qualifications
- Typing and or Word/Text Processing Skills.
- GCSE English Grade C or equivalent.
- Text Word processing & audio skills to RSA II or equivalent.
- 4 GCSE C or equivalent.
- Business Admin NVQ II or equivalent.
- Ability to complete tasks accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to work on own initiative and prioritise workload to achieve deadlines.
- Good written and verbal communication skills. Ability and confidence to communicate at all levels.
- Competent Microsoft Word User.
- Awareness and Knowledge of the dignity in care agenda.
- Ability to evidence/demonstrate key values and behaviours in line with the Trust framework.
- Ability to operate office equipment, e.g. Fax, Photocopier.
