West Bay Construction, Inc. is a General Contractor located in Southern NJ (Atlantic County) presently in our 30th year of operation. Our contracting operations include underground utility installation, pump stations and sewerage treatment facilities, bridge rehabilitation, structural concrete, roadway/highway, grading, excavation and site improvements. We provide construction services for various public clients including federal, state, inter-state, county and municipal agencies. Our primary work regions are the states of New Jersey, Delaware, and Eastern Pennsylvania.
We are seeking an experienced Executive Heavy Construction Manager Vice President to oversee and manage construction projects and company operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction management, estimating, means and methods, and project scheduling. Executive Heavy Construction Manager Vice President Duties
- Participate in marketing the company strengths and increasing their market share.
- Participate in preparation and review of estimating projects utilizing HCSS software.
- Manage and lead construction projects from inception to completion.
- Utilize construction management software (M/S Excel) for project tracking and reporting.
- Coordinate with project teams, subcontractors, and vendors.
- Develop project schedules using M/S Project or similar tool.
- Review and interpret construction site schematics and blueprints.
- Ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
- Implement best practices for efficient project delivery.
Executive Construction Manager Vice President Qualifications
- BS in Civil Engineering or related engineering field or a mechanically inclined individual is essential.
- Familiar with NJDOT Standard Specifications a plus.
- The candidate should be proficient in M/S Office and Project. Other computer programs used in the position are HCSS estimating system and CADD.
- Must be able to read and comprehend civil, architectural, mechanical and electrical plans and specifications.
- Must possess a driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Due to security measures enforced by prospective clients, drug testing and background checks may be required for some facilities.
- Proven experience in project management within the construction industry.
- Proficiency in construction management software such as Bluebeam.
- Strong understanding of project scheduling and coordination.
- Knowledge of build processes and construction site operations.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
