HCT seeks an experienced nursing leader to serve as a Clinical Nurse Educator for Pediatric Intensive Care (PICU), at a 350 bed hospital in California.
The Clinical Nurse Educator's responsibilities include:
- Planning, developing, implementing, teaching, and evaluating training programs for a variety of clinical staff with the goal of improving care and advancing patient care practices.
- Serving as a leader, role model, and consultant for educational practices and patient care delivery.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in nursing (BSN) required; MSN preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of direct clinical experience in Pediatric Intensive Care/Pediatrics combined with experience as a clinical educator; strong communication skills; effective interpersonal skills.
- License: Current CA RN license required.
- Certifications: ACLS, PALS, BLS required.
- Computer Skills: Electronic Medical Record (EPIC) and Microsoft Office suite experience preferred.
