Brief Job Overview
The Director of Enterprise Applications is responsible for the strategic leadership, development and management of USP’s enterprise business applications and platforms (e.g. ERP, CRM, BI, ecommerce), data infrastructure and custom-built systems. The Director will oversee the design, implementation, maintenance and optimization of enterprise systems to meet the organization’s objectives. The Director will lead a team of solution architects, software engineers and application specialists to build and support high-quality, reliable and scalable applications in an agile and cost-effective manner to align with business processes and deliver maximum value. The position requires a visionary leader with a deep understanding of IT applications, excellent communication and organizational skills, and the ability to drive technological advancement that aligns with business objectives.

The Director, Enterprise Applications has the following responsibilities:
- Develop and execute an enterprise application strategy that aligns with the organization’s business goals.
- Provide thought leadership on industry trends, innovations and best practices in enterprise applications.
- Partner with business leaders to understand needs and translate them into effective IT solutions.
- Lead, mentor and manage a team of solution architects and software engineers.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, collaboration, creativity and productivity within the team.
- Manage the entire lifecycle of enterprise applications, including selection, implementation, maintenance and retirement.
- Ensure the integration and interoperability of various systems to optimize business processes.
- Manage relationships with software vendors and service providers involved in the delivery and support of enterprise applications.
- Develop and manage the IT budget for enterprise applications, optimizing costs while delivering high-quality solutions.
- Ensure all enterprise applications comply with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices.
- Identify, assess and mitigate risks associated with enterprise applications, ensuring business continuity and data security.
Who is USP Looking For?
The successful candidate will have a demonstrated understanding of our mission, commitment to excellence through inclusive and equitable behaviors and practices, ability to quickly build credibility with stakeholders, along with the following competencies and experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in IT, with at least 5 years in a leadership role overseeing enterprise applications.
- 5+ years of people management experience.
- Proven experience managing large-scale enterprise applications like ERP, CRM, BPMS, BI and other critical business applications.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex enterprise application implementation and modernization projects.
- Deep understanding of system architecture, integration and data management.
- Experience with cloud-based enterprise applications and platforms.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent leadership, team-building and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders across all levels of the organization.
- Result-driven with demonstrated success in developing and delivering IT solutions on enterprise applications.
Additional Desired Preferences
- Master’s degree in Computer Science or Engineering
- Experience in life science, healthcare or pharmaceutical industries.
- Experience in data analytics and business intelligence.

Base Salary Range: USD $157,500.00 – 209,500.00 annually.
Target Annual Bonus: % Varies based on level of role
