Unit Description
Sodexo Corporate Services is looking for a General Manager 4 to join our team at Bloomberg in Arlington VA, located in the heart of Crystal City. The food operation is made up of Pantry and Catering Services. The General Manager will be the onsite Manager at our Arlington location in addition to supporting the DC location.
The General Manager 4 oversees a high-volume pantry provided by our clients to their employees, with a total MV of 2.8 million. The client provides pre-packaged snacks, bagels, fruit, and an assortment of beverages. The General Manager 4 oversees Sodexo's services which largely focus on overseeing the stocking, sanitation, and equipment maintenance. In addition, this role will manage the catering onsite, arranging for food delivery and executing setup and clean up for all food requests.
The General Manager 4 will interact with our customers and clients daily. Excellent customer service and client relations skills are a must. Our ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail and a passion for hospitality. Other duties will include but are not limited to:
- Managing the budget/finances
- Managing the client relationship
- Ordering
- Inventory
- Catering
- Working with local restaurants for catering
- Managing a team of 1 Supervisor and 5 hourly employees
- Supporting the DC location
This position offers a traditional Business & Industry, predominantly M-F schedule but is flexible to work some evenings for catering. Accrue 3 weeks of paid vacation per year (first year pro-rated based on date of hire). Medical Benefits beginning date of hire, and 401K with company match eligible.

Basic Education Requirement - Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience
Basic Management Experience - 5 years
Basic Functional Experience - 5 years
