Position Overview:
Puyallup Dermatology, a small, physician-owned practice, is seeking a compassionate and skilled General Medical/Surgical Dermatologist to join our close-knit team. One of our MDs has plans to retire next year, this new role would assist in the transition of his current patients to our new dermatologist.
We pride ourselves on building strong, lasting relationships with our patients while delivering personalized, high-quality care. In this role, you will provide comprehensive dermatologic services, including medical and surgical treatments, in a supportive and collaborative environment. Cosmetics is available, but not required. Our practice is equipped with a industry leading Sciton Halo and BBL Hero device and uses ModMed EMA for electronic medical records (EMR). We welcome both experienced dermatologists and new graduates. We would also consider a qualified part time Mohs/Part time General dermatology candidate.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide medical and surgical dermatology services, including biopsies, excisions, and treatment of skin cancers.
- Build and maintain strong patient relationships through personalized care.
- Efficiently manage patient records using ModMed EMA EMR system.
- Provide compassionate and competent care.
- Lead your team of Medical Assistants and Scribes.
- Opportunity to read pathology is available.
- Cosmetics is available, if desired, though not required.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible in Dermatology.
- Licensed or eligible for licensure in Washington State.
- Strong surgical skills and medical dermatology knowledge.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and a focus on building long-term patient relationships.
- Commitment to providing high-quality, patient-centered care.
- New graduates or experienced dermatologists are encouraged to apply.
