Title: Director of National Accounts
Job Description:
ScieGen Pharmaceuticals Inc, a fast-growing generic pharmaceutical manufacturer based in Hauppauge, NY, is looking to add a key member to our sales team. We are looking for an experienced individual to manage and grow national account sales. The Director of National Accounts will report to the Senior Vice President of Sales & Marketing.
The candidate must be highly organized, a self-starter, and an excellent communicator with well-developed interpersonal skills, confidence, and the ability to work independently with limited direct supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a collection of high-level accounts (wholesalers, buying groups, chains)
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with customers
- Generate sales by securing product awards and marketing ScieGen's product line (existing and new launch products)
- Ensure proper communication/collaboration between different departments within the company and customers
- Work on RFP bids
- Travel to meet with customers on a frequent basis to build and maintain relationships
Qualifications and Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
- 5-10 years of sales/account management experience in the Generic Pharmaceutical Industry
- Strong communication, decision-making, and Microsoft Office proficiency
- Willingness to travel (at least once or twice per month)
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $150,000.00 per year
