Overview
There has never been a more exciting time to be working in healthcare at Microsoft. Our Health & Life Sciences Platform organization is an interdisciplinary team of product managers, designers, engineers, and clinicians who are designing, developing, and deploying next-generation healthcare services as part of the Microsoft Cloud for healthcare organizations around the world. As a Principal Software Engineering Manager, you will be an integral member of the Dax Core team within HLS Platform that is working to empower clinicians and patients to achieve more by reducing their efforts and providing additional value with AI support introduced with minimum friction into their daily workflows. Our team is working in a challenging environment, continuously learning and staying at the forefront of AI development - integrating AI solutions, not creating them from scratch. The candidate will be excited about waking up every morning to tackle new challenges and apply their skills in software architecture, engineering, IaC, and many more to create AI-centric services used by Microsoft internal and external customers. As a Principal Software Engineering Manager, you would also help this team, a group of highly skilled individuals, to grow, support them in any personal or workplace challenges, and be involved in strategic team decisions as well as hiring when necessary. Microsoft's mission is to empower every person and every organization on the planet to achieve more. As employees, we come together with a growth mindset, innovate to empower others, and collaborate to realize our shared goals. Each day we build on our values of respect, integrity, and accountability to create a culture of inclusion where everyone can thrive at work and beyond. This role requires the candidate to work in the Eastern Time Zone.
