We are currently seeking an Interim Chief Information Officer to provide vision and leadership for developing and implementing global information technology initiatives. The Chief Information Officer directs the planning and implementation of enterprise IT systems in support of business operations in order to improve cost effectiveness, service quality, and business development. This individual is responsible for all aspects of the organization’s information technology and systems.
ROLE
The ideal CIO will be responsible for determining long term, system-wide information needs, for developing the overall strategy for information technology, systems development, hardware technology, and clinical systems. A Master’s degree in a related field is essential, as are strongly honed leadership skills. The preferred candidate will have a minimum of ten years of experience in Financial Services or Healthcare IT leadership – including expertise in ERP, CRM, HRIS and BPMS. S/he will possess excellent critical thinking skills and understand how to, through IT solutions and greater clinical integration, create economies of scale and a solid ROI.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
This new leader will provide strategic and visionary leadership system wide and operate as a trusted member of the senior leadership team. Reporting directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the CIO will be an expert in the implementation and optimization of business systems and infrastructure and possess a comprehensive understanding of the current and changing technology landscape.
KNOWLEDGE & SKILL REQUIREMENTS
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors or Masters Degree in computer science, business administration, information management, or related field. Ten or more years of experience in managing and/or directing an IT operation with five or more years of supervisory or management experience. Individual should be intimately familiar with social media, mobile, analytics and cloud technology platforms.
