Techelligence is currently looking for a Senior Product Manager to join our team.
This position requires someone to have a deep understanding of the Big Data & Analytics space and not be confined to any specific tools. Our goal is to do extensive research and conceive next-generation tools and applications to empower today’s enterprises to experience the full potential of Big Data & Analytics by helping them to plan, analyze, and manage data in real-time.
Responsibilities
- Market Research & Definition
- Identify market gaps & customer problems.
- Track market patterns to predict competitive moves and drive product positioning.
- Work closely with customers to define use cases and establish user personas.
- Aggregate all internal & external ideas and data points while providing data-backed prioritization to drive concrete product focus areas and themes.
- Strategy & Consultation
Execute relentlessly with engineering to deliver a world-class product. - Team Player
Work closely with engineering teams to ensure successful delivery. Participate in design discussions to ensure decisions align with product requirements. - Feedback Loop
Always available to engineers to provide feedback at every step as they build the product. - Drive the Business
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing & Partners.
- Support field enablement and other go-to-market activities by creating collateral such as technical and business white papers, success stories, data sheets, brochures, best practices, and product presentations.
- Define, track, and interpret key business metrics to track overall product success.
Qualifications- Proven track record of leading commercial enterprise software in the data management or analytics space.
- 3+ years of product management experience in enterprise software technology.
- Deep understanding of Big Data technologies.
- Experience building GUI and/or web applications and designing user experience is a big plus.
- An entrepreneurial DNA combined with high integrity and a collaborative approach.
- Must have a BS or MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent technical field. MBA preferred.
- Ability to quickly understand complex technologies.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills to communicate effectively across functions internally and with customers.
