About the Role:
As the Salesforce/CPQ Strategy and Execution, Senior Manager, you will own the development of Medallia's strategy and vision for Salesforce and CPQ. Additionally, you will own the development of the execution plan that you set forth according to the vision. This is an individual contributor role that will work closely with our IT counterparts who are responsible for the development of the solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead a cross-functional group of stakeholders dedicated to capitalizing on the full features and benefits of Salesforce and CPQ.
- Partner with the business on the maintenance of the existing Salesforce and CPQ instances as well as design new solutions.
- Design, develop, and configure customized solutions using the full Salesforce and CPQ toolset.
- Translate pricing requirements into technical specs and lead solution design.
- Work closely with business partners to review operational processes and identify inefficiencies and opportunities for Salesforce and CPQ utilization.
- Develop efficiencies in current solutions to scale configurations, workflow rules, validation rules, formula fields, escalation rules, and auto-assignment rules with regard to CPQ and pricing rules.
- Develop and maintain documentation outlining the intended use of Salesforce and CPQ for GTM end users, which includes a data dictionary for both systems.
Qualifications
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field or related experience.
- 8+ years of hands-on experience in Salesforce development and administration, including extensive experience with Salesforce CPQ.
- Proven track record of successfully leading complex Salesforce and CPQ implementation projects from concept to delivery.
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong technical skills in Salesforce platform development, including Apex, Lightning Web Components, Visualforce, and REST/SOAP APIs.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and integration capabilities.
- Experience with agile development methodologies and tools such as Jira or Agile Central.
- Experience with working in a fast-paced environment while working with IT in a shared service capacity.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and mentoring abilities, with a passion for coaching and developing talent.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
Medallia is committed to equal pay and transparency. The annual base salary range for this position is $123,000-221,000. Please note that the salary range information provided is a general guideline and combines all of the distinct labor markets within the US. It is uncommon for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on a variety of factors. Medallia considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, candidate's work location, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, external market data, as well as, market and business considerations when making compensation decisions.
