About the Position

The BTA Manager participates in all phases of business and technology advisory consulting projects for companies in a variety of industries. The emphasis and focus of the work is on the delivery of process redesign, systems selection and implementation, project management, and resource organizational work. You will also have an active role in practice development, staff performance management, and training.
Competencies and Position Requirements
- Manages all phases of business and technology advisory consulting projects for assigned client companies in a variety of industries.
- Ensures successful, efficient, and on-time completion of multiple, simultaneous engagements.
- Leads team of consultants and updates principal throughout project.
- Delivers work specific to system selection and system implementation (ERP), project management, process redesign, and governance across industries applying strong knowledge of relevant research methods, industry-specific best practices as well as regulatory and compliance guidance.
- Gains a thorough understanding of the client’s operational flows, internal control frameworks, technology platforms, and culture and how these factors impact the client’s processes and the overall engagement.
- Provides meaningful advice and recommendations particularly related to client controls, business processes, and risk mitigation.
- Assists area leaders in business generation by identifying and communicating proposal opportunities for services to existing and/or prospective clients.
- Participates in firm administration and management, including practice development, staff management, and other areas as assigned.
- Exceptional planning and organizational capabilities and effective written and oral communication skills.
- Adept at building internal and external relationships with a focus on outstanding client service.
- Proficient in time management and prioritization of tasks, strategic thinking, and planning.
- Intellectual curiosity and willingness to acquire new knowledge.
Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree required. MBA in finance, management, or accounting preferred.
- Generally 5-7 years of experience in providing business advisory services with a public accounting or professional services firm, preferably a large regional or national firm needed.
- PMP, CISA, or other certificate preferred.
- Frequent regional travel (approximately 50%) to client sites in Northern New England.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule based on business needs.
