About the role
Hiring a mid to senior/staff level full-stack engineer to join our team and focus on shipping products.
Things you'll be working on
Architecting and implementing full-stack product features in Typescript/React/Node is the core of what you’ll be doing. Real examples include:
- Build our AI tools for our end-customers to generate new Replo content.
- Build our analytics and experimentation products end-to-end.
- Build out well-abstracted 3rd-party integrations with platforms like Shopify.
- Build our payments/billing infrastructure to manage different customer use-cases.
- Own our multiplayer editor end-to-end, deep dive into CRDT, React-performance.
- Own our user onboarding flow from end-to-end.
Looking for someone who
- Can be hybrid in San Francisco.
- Is very proficient in Typescript/React/Node.
- Can leverage GPT/Claude/Cursor to accelerate their work.
- Has built products 0 -> 1 with real users and revenue.
- Is OK with not having product and design support all the time.
- Is ALWAYS SHIPPING. We don't spend weeks planning features at Replo.
- Has a product and customer-focused mindset.
- Has experience being burned by deployment and maintenance issues. If you have a strong opinion on how products should be built, that’s good.
- Values writing clean, maintainable software, including documentation.
- Is comfortable with ambiguity and defining software architecture patterns to solve customer pain points.
Bonus points if you
- Have a Computer Science degree or formal computer science/STEM backend.
- Have started a company before.
- Enjoy attending hackathons.
- Worked at an early-stage (Series A or earlier) startup previously.
- Have not wasted hours interview-prepping on Leetcode.
- Have an eye for visual design (or past experience in product design, Figma, etc).
