Position Summary: The Program Director is responsible for the administrative management of the Family Coaching & Visitation Center. The Family Coaching and Visitation program offers supervised visits for children in the care of DCYF and their parents, in addition to providing parent education, case management, clinical support, clinical assessment, and one-on-one modeling and parent coaching. The role of the Program Director includes supervising program staff and overseeing the delivery of evidence-based and informed services within the program, as well as recruiting, training, and supporting program staff. Responsible for overall program leadership including establishing and maintaining collaborative relationships with the DCYF FSU and CRU (Central Referral Unit) staffs. Responsible for ensuring contract compliance and budget management for the program. Works closely with FSRI’s Billing Staff to ensure timely and accurate billing for the program. Reviews and approves all program assessments, service plans, and reports. Covers for program staff and supervisors as needed.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in human services is required.
- At least 3 years of program management and staff supervision experience are required.
- Experience implementing trauma-focused, evidence-based treatments is preferred.
- Possession of a valid driver's license, reliable transportation, and auto insurance is also required.
- Bilingual skills are preferred and compensated by an additional 6% above base pay.
Physical Requirements:
This position requires residential and community visits. Employees in this position must have the ability to:
- Travel to and from clients' residences, community locations, and office site, which could include using walkways, stairs, and/or elevators.
- Lift up to 20 lbs.
- Communicate effectively.
