Actalent is seeking a Senior Aviation Project Manager who has in-depth airport experience to work with a professional engineering firm specializing in aviation. The firm provides expert airport engineering services, including planning, design, and construction management for airfield projects. Job Description:
The successful candidate will manage airfield engineering services, including planning, design, project management, and construction management of airport infrastructure. Responsibilities include preparing reports, designs, and documents, overseeing technical staff during construction, and engaging in client and business development activities. The role requires leading design teams, reporting to Principals-in-Charge, and traveling domestically and internationally for project meetings.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, or a related engineering degree applicable to airport infrastructure design and/or construction.
- 10 – 15 years post-graduate experience in Civil Engineering design.
- 5+ years post-graduate experience in Airport Engineering design.
- Must be able to pass TSA Security Screening and Background Check for working at commercial airports.
- Must be a licensed Professional Engineer in Civil Engineering with the ability to obtain licensure in other states in the USA.
- Must be able to travel domestically and internationally.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil3D and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Proficiency in writing technical reports and client communications.
- Must be extremely well-organized and able to manage and prioritize numerous tasks to ensure commitment to project delivery, client service, and quality management.
- Must be able to direct staff, both internal and subconsultants, in assigning and overseeing design tasks during the project lifecycle.
- Must have excellent English communication and written skills in leading multi-disciplinary design teams and making design presentations to clients.
- Must be able to mentor, train, and supervise less experienced staff in completing design tasks.
- Ability to work well independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Must possess a valid driver’s license and be able to travel frequently.
