Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic and passionate General Manager for the Residence Inn Boston Framingham, which features banquet space and a restaurant. The General Manager will oversee daily operations and provide leadership to ensure outstanding guest service and financial profitability. This role requires a strong background in Food & Beverage and Banquets. In addition to a competitive base salary, we offer an incentive package up to 20% of the base salary.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all hotel operations, including budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning.
- Oversee and direct the restaurant and banquet operations, including staff management.
- Implement and adhere to company policies and standards, while driving service excellence and balanced scorecard performance.
- Develop and manage sales and marketing initiatives to boost hotel performance.
- Lead, mentor, and develop the executive team and department heads, including performance evaluations and professional development.
- Address guest inquiries and resolve concerns to ensure exceptional guest satisfaction.
- Review operational performance to identify opportunities for improvement in productivity, efficiency, and guest satisfaction. Implement corrective action plans as needed.
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and financial targets.
- Serve as the primary liaison to the JNR corporate office.
- Recruit, interview, and train team members to build a high-performing team.
- Monitor and enhance service quality, operational efficiency, and overall guest experience.
Role Requirements:
- Mandatory previous experience as a General Manager in a franchised hotel.
- Preferred experience with Marriott or Starwood branded hotels.
- Proficiency with Marriott/Starwood systems and processes is highly desirable.
Experience:
- Hotel General Manager: 3 years (Required)
- Marriott Brand experience: 2 years (Preferred)
- Knowledge of banquets and restaurant operations: 2 years (Preferred)
Compensation and Benefits:
Base salary plus incentive package up to 20% of base salary. Comprehensive benefits package.
