We are seeking a Data/Program Analyst that has experience supporting the federal government, commercial, and non-governmental organizations. Considered candidates will have the opportunity to support our nation’s public health initiatives through direct work with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS).

General Duties:
- Maintaining a variety of data products, chronological data status and accounting logs
- Review operations and testing of models to ensure adequacy or to determine need for reformulating to support collection, manipulation, analysis, and other use of data
- Conduct facilitation sessions to gather requirements and builds logical models
- Review project models to ensure adherence to standards and ensure data quality alignment
- Work on, and across, multiple projects to ensure consistency in naming conventions and promotes the sharing and reuse of data across applications and program areas
- Ensure that data analysis program goals are met while effectively contributing to data management
- Review and report on project metrics to benchmark effectiveness
- Apply analytic techniques in the evaluation of project objectives and contributes to the implementation of strategic direction assigned by the program manager
- Resolve complex problems, which require an in-depth knowledge of analytic methodologies and principles
- Assist program managers in coordinating assigned repatriation activities, as well as planning processes to inform upper management on key issues and provide information that could impact processes and decision-making.
- Identify issues, gather and analyze information, and develop advice and guidance to resolve substantive problems affecting the effectiveness and efficiency of Repatriation or Disaster Case Management operations.
Qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university or college in a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years of professional Data/Program Analyst experience
- Firm understanding of industry best practices and the repatriation program
- Proficient in extracting data from relational databases using various query software tools, graphic displays for data presentation, database tools, and spreadsheet software
- Able to produce finished reports containing analyses, graphics, and recommendations
- Experience using computers, including email, Word, and Excel
- Able to work independently and manage deliverables.
- Excellent written and effective oral communication skills.
- Strong spreadsheet and presentation skills.
