Responsibilities
Job Summary:
The Demand Generation Director is accountable for driving Fertility solutions growth by generating and nurturing leads, increasing brand awareness, and supporting sales efforts. The roles responsibilities are broad and encompass various strategies and tactics aimed at creating demand for Fertility solutions products and services. The role will partner with marketing colleagues to identify the highest value opportunities and develop plans to execute against them utilizing campaigns and digital campaigns.
Essential Functions & Accountabilities:
- Orchestrate and optimize the entire demand generation process
- Oversee the creation and execution of digital campaigns to generate interest and demand for CooperSurgical Fertility Solutions offerings
- Lead digital campaign planning, content development, and deployment execution efforts
- Define success metrics for digital campaigns in collaboration with Marketing Analytics Manager
- Develop and implement demand generation strategies aligned with the company's goals.
- Design, execute, and optimize multi-channel marketing campaigns (email, social media, content marketing, PPC, SEO).
- Manage campaigns from concept through execution and ensure they are delivered on time and within budget.
- Develop and execute lead generation strategies to attract new customers.
- Utilize various techniques such as inbound marketing, lead nurturing, and account-based marketing
- Collaborate with content creators to produce high-quality marketing materials, ensuring content aligns with the demand generation strategy and resonates with target audiences
- Track, measure, and analyze all demand generation activities to understand effectiveness and ROI.
- Use data to make informed decisions and optimize campaigns for better performance.
- Report on campaign performance to stakeholders and ensure campaigns deliver a positive return on investment.
- Manage marketing automation platforms (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo) and CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce).
- Ensure the technology stack is effectively used to support demand generation efforts.
- Work closely with the sales team to ensure alignment on lead quality and follow-up processes.
- Partner with other marketing teams (content, digital, events, Integrated Marketing services) to ensure cohesive marketing efforts.
- Coordinate with external agencies and vendors as needed.
- Develop and manage the demand generation budget.
- Ensure cost-effective use of resources to maximize ROI.
- Increase brand awareness and market presence through targeted campaigns.
- Ensure consistent brand messaging across all marketing channels

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Success in this role requires a combination of strategic thinking, analytical skills, and the ability to execute and optimize marketing campaigns across multiple channels.
- Understanding of fundamental marketing concepts and strategies along with knowledge of digital marketing channels (SEO, PPC, social media, email marketing).
- In-depth knowledge of the sales funnel stages and how to move prospects through it.
- Familiarity with content creation and content marketing strategies.
- Knowledge of marketing automation tools (e.g., HubSpot, Marketo, Pardot).
- Understanding of data analytics and metrics that drive demand generation (e.g., conversion rates, CTR, CPL).
- Ability to develop and execute comprehensive marketing plans.
- Strong project management skills to handle multiple campaigns and initiatives simultaneously.
- Proficiency in analyzing data to make informed decisions and optimize campaigns.
- Proficiency with marketing tools and platforms (e.g., CRM systems, analytics tools).
- Basic understanding of web technologies and SEO best practices.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills for collaborating with teams and presenting strategies.
- Ability to develop creative campaigns that capture attention and drive engagement.

Experience:
- 7-10 years of experience in marketing, preferably in demand generation or a related field.
- Experience in managing and executing marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful lead generation strategies.
- Experience in B2B and B2C marketing with Medical device and/or related sectors
- Experience working with sales teams and other departments to align marketing strategies with business goals.
- Experience in tracking and reporting on campaign performance metrics.
Education:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Advanced degree preferred, especially an MBA or an advanced scientific degree

For U.S. locations that require disclosure of compensation, the starting base pay for this role is between $115,000 - $150,000. The actual base pay includes many factors, and is subject to change and modification in the future. This position may also be eligible for other types of compensation and benefits.
