Gulf Coast Veterinary Specialists (GCVS) is seeking a second veterinary medical oncologist to join our established medical oncology service and support a growing caseload. We are a progressive, team-oriented practice that values high-quality medicine, communication, and compassionate patient care. We are also in the process of optimizing our practices and procedures with the help of an Oncology VTS to improve our overall care delivery.
Our 60,000 sq-ft hospital has a 1.5 T MRI, 64-slice CT, a Varian Halcyon radiation therapy system capable of advanced radiation therapy modalities as well as an Interventional Radiology Suite. We currently have specialty practices in Surgery, Neurology, Internal Medicine, Critical Care, Radiology, Diagnostic Imaging, Sports Medicine and Rehabilitation, Radiation Oncology, Ophthalmology, Dermatology and Allergy, Avian and Exotics, Cardiology, and Anesthesiology. In addition to the specialty services, we have a 24/7/365 critical care unit including an emergency clinic, intensive care unit, and intermediate unit staffed by emergency physicians, criticalists, and hospitalists.
Our Oncologists will enjoy a dedicated support team including LVTs, technicians, and client service coordinators as well as a strong and collaborative leadership team.
