Position Title: Staff VP PBM Pricing & Underwriting
Location: Located within commuting distance to an Elevance Health office in: IN, GA, IL, MN, CT.

The Staff VP of PBM Pricing and Underwriting will be responsible for overseeing all pricing and underwriting activities for CarelonRx. This critical leadership role will be responsible for several strategic initiatives and providing analytical support for sales and account management. Primary duties may include but are not limited to:
Team Scope:
The Staff VP of PBM Pricing and Underwriting will supervise a team of 38 with 7 direct reports.
Position Responsibilities:
- Leads a team of pharmacy underwriters who are responsible for quickly preparing a high volume of thoughtful, accurate, market-leading RFP responses for new and renewal business.
- Partners with FP&A to ensure accurate budgeting for changes to revenue and margin from new, renewal and terminating clients.
- Partners with the Corporate Development team to conduct due diligence on acquisition opportunities.
- Partners with Sales leaders to establish pricing targets to support long-term growth plans and track deals accordingly.
- Acts as subject matter expert on the technical aspects of Rx pricing and helps to model synergy opportunities.
- Trains, coaches, counsels, and evaluates performance of direct reports.
Position Requirements:
Requires BA/BS in a related field and a minimum of 12 years related experience, including prior management experience; or any combination of education and experience that would provide an equivalent background. FSA and/or MBA preferred.

Experience in PBM Pricing and Underwriting.
