Position Overview:
Maintenance of electronic equipment, inspection and installation of new equipment, and repairs of existing equipment.
Job Description:
Repair and maintain patient care equipment such as cardio-monitors, EKG machines, and defibrillators.
Repair and adjust sophisticated laboratory equipment.
Instruct nursing personnel in the safe operation of biomedical equipment.
EDUCATION
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience
Associate's: Electronics
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
CBET- Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician
AAMI certification
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE AS TYPICALLY ACQUIRED IN:
Ability to read blueprints and wire diagrams.

Pay Range is $65.08 to $65.08 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
