- After Care (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3:30 pm to 6 pm, and Friday from 12:30 pm to 6 pm)

Apollo After School offers after-school care and enrichment clubs at local schools. We seek outgoing, personable, and reliable staff members for our school-based programs in the area. We are seeking dedicated, enthusiastic, patient, and caring individuals who are flexible, responsible, and who have a real, genuine passion for working with children and making a positive impact on their lives.

As an Apollo Student Transition Lead, your responsibilities will be:
- Provide a high-quality learning environment and manage activities that extend the school day;
- The Student Transition Lead will be responsible for managing the transition process of students during the after-school program.
- This role ensures smooth transitions from school to after-school activities, maintains accurate attendance records, and safely facilitates student.
- Ensure the safety and security of children enrolled.
- Take attendance at the beginning of the after-school program to ensure all students are accounted for.
- Act as the main point of contact for student transitions during the after-school program.
- Ensure that each student is released to their designated parent or guardian during pick-up.
- Monitor student behavior during transitions and ensure that students follow safety protocols while moving between activities or preparing to go home.
- Relay clear and concise information between team members.
- Maintain accurate attendance and pick-up logs to document when students arrive and leave the program.
- Address any challenges that arise during student transitions, including missing students, communication issues, or pick-up conflicts, in a calm and efficient manner.
- Work closely with program staff, teachers, and parents to ensure smooth daily operations, providing support wherever needed.
The requirements for our Student Transition Lead are:
- A team player who can collaborate with peers.
- Ability to assess and solve problems associated with elementary-aged children.
- Ability to create and maintain a fun, caring, and responsive educational environment.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with children, parents, and staff.
- Experience in an after-school or educational setting is preferred.
- Ability to multitask and manage transitions in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of safety protocols for handling student transitions.
- Comfortable using walkie-talkies and other communication tools.
