Peraton is seeking a highly qualified Senior Software Test Engineer in support to the upcoming LONG-RANGE ENTERPRISE INTELLIGENCE, SURVEILLANCE, AND RECONNAISSANCE ACTIVITY (LEIA) in Honolulu, HI. As part of a highly talented, motivated team, you will support a fast-paced program delivering a broad spectrum of Command, Control, Communications, Computer, Cyber Defense, Combat Systems, Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (C6ISR) capabilities to support SOCPAC missions and its AORs. Duties and responsibilities include:
As a Senior Software Test Engineer, you will lead the automated testing of software for the entire LEIA enterprise following the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe). Develop and maintain a suite of tests to ensure continuous integration and delivery.
- Identify key areas for testing and prioritize testing activities based on risk and impact.
- Design comprehensive test plans and strategies that align with the development pipeline.
- Optimize test suite to avoid overlapping controls.
- Implement automated tests, including unit, integration, functional, regression, and performance tests.
- Ensure that tests are run as part of the build and CI/CD process and that results are promptly available to the team.
- Work closely with developers and business analysts to understand requirements and acceptance criteria.
- Collaborate on identifying defects and issues early in the development cycle, including working with the team to ensure testing is considered during formative work.
- Participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospectives.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest testing tools, methodologies, and best practices.
- Track, report, and manage defects using appropriate tools.
- Verify defect fixes and conduct regression testing to ensure resolved issues do not reoccur.
- Document test cases, test procedures, and test results.
QualificationsRequired Qualifications
- Proven experience as a test engineer using techniques for debugging, testing, releasing, and maintaining test software architectures.
- Minimum of 8 years with BS/BA; Minimum of 6 years with MS/MA; Minimum of 3 years with PhD. Additional experience may be considered in lieu of a higher education.
- Active TS/SCI Security clearance.
- Extensive experience in software development utilizing C# .NET, Vue.js (React) frameworks.
- Experience in all phases of software development and Agile, Scrum methodologies.
- 5-7 years of experience working with .NET technologies (C# .NET).
- 5-7+ years of experience working with SQL Server.
- 5+ years with open-source, front-end technologies (Vue.js, React, or Angular).
- 5-7+ years of experience working with AWS cloud technologies.
- Ability to perform troubleshooting, analysis, and design of solutions.

Target Salary Range$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
