DescriptionMount Sinai Doctors Long Island seeks an Internal Medicine or Family Medicine Physician to provide same day/immediate care for existing patients.
Joining this multi-specialty group with its main site in a brand new, state-of-the-art, 80,000 square foot ambulatory facility in Huntington, will allow the physician to rapidly grow a practice by servicing a large and diverse patient population in Huntington and other nearby Mount Sinai Doctor sites.
Ideal candidates will give excellent care to a diverse community of patients that need treatment for a broad spectrum of conditions and diseases. The selected candidate will play an instrumental role in ensuring excellent patient care, quality outcomes, and satisfaction. In addition, we would like our talented physician candidates to have a passion for outpatient medicine and be fully committed to the mission of Mount Sinai Health System.
The chosen candidates will have the opportunity to partner with the world-renowned Icahn School of Medicine. Mount Sinai’s Department of Medicine is strongly committed to caring for the whole patient and places special emphasis on providing patient-centered care.
Responsibilities- This physician will integrate with the PCPs and the specialists to care primarily for the existing patients in the practice that need same day care.
- Work in a large collegial multispecialty setting with almost every specialty including cardiology, neurology, urology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, pain management, allergy, urology, radiology, and hematology/oncology.
- Serve a diverse population and live in a neighborhood with excellent school districts.
- Support Staff: Medical Assistants, Registered Nurses, PA’s, full service on-site imaging center with brand new Siemens MRI and PET CT, ultrasound, on-site lab.
- EMR system: Epic.
- No teaching, research, or administrative responsibilities required.

Qualifications- Medical Degree from an Accredited University.
- New York Medical License/Active NYS DEA.
- Board Eligible or Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine.

Compensation range from 225K to 275K (not including bonuses/incentive compensation or benefits).
