About This Job
This position will be onsite and located at our HQ in San Diego, CA. Remote or hybrid is not available for this role.
The FVP, Centers of Excellence will lead the strategic direction and operational management of the Centers of Excellence (COE) within the organization. This role is responsible for driving innovation, standardizing best practices, and ensuring the delivery of high-impact, scalable technology solutions across multiple products, platforms, and business units. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in technology, innovation, and business process management, with a proven track record of leading cross-functional technology teams to achieve strategic objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement the strategic vision for the Centers of Excellence, aligning with the overall enterprise strategy for the following platforms: Salesforce, Five9, contact center AI, RPA, and other enterprise technology.
- Lead and manage a team of experts in specialized technology and business domains, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement.
- Standardize best practices and SDLC processes across the COEs to ensure consistency, efficiency, and scalability.
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to build and deliver scalable enterprise solutions that meet business needs.
- Oversee the development and execution of COE initiatives, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with business objectives.
- Monitor and manage the performance of the COEs, using data-driven insights to drive continuous improvement.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior leadership, business unit leaders, and external partners.
- Ensure effective communication and knowledge sharing across the COEs and the broader organization.
- Manage the budget and resources for the COEs, ensuring optimal allocation and utilization.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum of 10 years of experience in a leadership role within a technology or business process management environment.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering high-impact, scalable solutions.
- Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate vision into actionable plans.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience in managing budgets and resources, with a focus on efficiency and cost-effectiveness.
- Deep understanding of Salesforce, Contact Center AI, and Robotic Process Automation (RPA).
- Knowledge of industry best practices and emerging trends in technology and business process management.
Preferred:
- Experience in a financial services or banking environment.
- Knowledge of customer relationship management (CRM) systems and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.
- Familiarity with agile methodologies and project management frameworks.
