Title: Head of Partnerships
Reports To: SVP, Sales & Marketing
Location: New York, Los Angeles or San Francisco preferred (In person meetings as needed)
Travel: As needed - Up to 30%
Role Overview:
As the Head of Partnerships, you will play a pivotal role in developing and managing strategic alliances with venture capitalists and private equity firms. You will be responsible for fostering strong relationships, identifying new revenue-generating opportunities, and ensuring alignment between our services and the needs of our partners. This role requires a combination of business development, relationship management, and strategic planning skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leverage your deep connections in and understanding of the venture capital and private equity landscape. Your knowledge of industry trends and key players will enable you to identify new connections as well as successfully manage and grow existing partnerships and relationships.
- Establish VC and PE firms as a primary lead source by positioning Propeller Industries as the go-to service partner for each firm’s underlying portfolio.
- Cultivate and maintain relationships with key stakeholders and serve as the primary point of contact for partner inquiries, requests, and feedback.
- Collaborate with the Sales and Marketing teams to create sales opportunities and provide timely updates on pipeline development.
- Work closely with internal teams to align partnership initiatives with company objectives and priorities.
- Track and report on key performance indicators related to partnership activities, including revenue generated, new clients acquired, pipeline activity and partner satisfaction metrics.
- Provide regular updates to senior management on partnership initiatives, successes, and challenges.
- Collaborate with other departments, including finance, operations, and client services, to ensure seamless execution of partnership deliverables.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, finance, marketing, or a related field.
- Proven track record of having established and grown a VC/PE alliances channel with meaningful impact on overall revenues.
- Senior-level experience in partnership management, business development, or a related role within the financial services industry.
- Strong understanding of venture capital and private equity markets and industry dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and credibility with senior executives and key decision-makers.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive results.
- Highly organized with strong project management skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Highly motivated and committed individual who is a self-starter and has a can-do attitude.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Salary range: $130,000 - $150,000 + commission
