A profitable Managed Services Provider (MSP) for high rise apartment towers and commercial office buildings is hiring a NOC Support Engineer to the 10 person Network Operations Center Team. This team monitors all building assets including building access controls, elevators, and the building’s IT infrastructure. All staff work in-office three days a week in the San Francisco office which is easily accessible by BART, Muni, bus, ferry, bike, and car.
Unlike a traditional Network Operations Center team, this NOC team is customer facing and will talk with building owners and property managers as needed. To be successful, this position requires having at least 2 years of prior NOC experience and a certification in Networking such as a Network + or CCNA certification. Strong preference is to hire a NOC Support Engineer who is particularly strong with Layer 3, Firewalls, and/or troubleshooting. Every building is set up with CISCO Routers and Switches, and Palo Alto Firewalls.
Great opportunity to advance your career. The NOC team also works closely with the Client Onboarding team, and you will have opportunities to move into a Network Engineering role or a Project Manager role. The company also provides compensation to help you get advanced certifications including paying for the study guides and taking the certification tests.
The NOC Support Engineer will work in the San Francisco office 3 days a week, and remote work is available twice a week.
