Overview of Workday Integrations Developer:
L.E.K. is currently undergoing an internal HR process transformation and Workday HCM implementation across its 12 operating markets. Workday Professional Services (US) have partnered with L.E.K. to implement Workday following the Launch+ methodology.
In addition to the standard Workday functional areas, Workday are also developing a bespoke Performance Management tool, using Workday Extend, that will leverage delivered performance features whilst adding the specific functionality required for managing L.E.K.’s consulting performance processes.
L.E.K. seeks a Workday Integrations Developer to join our HR Systems Team. During the project this role will support the development of integrations and be Workday’s point of contact within L.E.K. for integration related activity. This will include working with L.E.K.’s Workday Solution Architect to ensure integrations are well designed and synchronized with our functional build, leading internal integration testing and engaging with 3rd party vendors. Post go-live the L.E.K. Workday Integrations Developer will support and maintain all Workday integrations and Extend apps, working with the Workday Solution Architect to establish the necessary support and maintenance processes, whilst continually enhancing and extending our Workday platform.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with Workday Integration consultants to support delivery, quality and stability of Workday integrations.
- Lead end to end integration testing alongside the Workday Test Lead.
- Participation in knowledge transfer and the handover of integrations from Workday Professional Services.
- Work with the HR Systems team and internal stakeholders to design, develop and test in-house integrations.
- Support Workday Extend Developers in the design, development and testing of our bespoke performance management tool.
- Liaise with 3rd party vendors and internal system owners to ensure effective development, testing and ongoing management of integrations.
- Understand the business and HR requirements, suggesting solutions and improvements, where applicable, in close collaboration with IT, HR stakeholders and 3rd parties.
- Follow defined integration/development standards and best practices.
- Monitor and support our Workday production integrations as an ongoing BAU activity, resolving issues as they arise.
- Continuously work to improve and enhance the value of our Workday investment.
Deliverables:
- Vendor management and coordination for design, test stages.
- Integration status calls.
- Integration Test Scenarios Working with Functional teams and developers.
- Integration Tracking and Reporting.
- Go-live cutover plan for integrations with HR Systems Team and Workday Consulting Team.
- Integration handover and knowledge transfer.
- Integration management and support processes.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 2 years professional experience with HCM integration development and/or maintenance, in a global internal setting or consultancy.
- Workday integration development experience is a plus:
- Knowledge of Workday data model.
- Experience in Workday Integrations in one or more areas: Studio, EIB, Cloud Connect, PICOF, BIRT.
- Experience working with our in-scope Workday functional areas: Core HCM, Absence, Recruiting, Learning, Benefits.
- Knowledge of web services, SOAP, REST, WDSL, XML, XSLT or XPATH.
- Project Management Skills is a plus.
- Detail and solution oriented.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and handle both planned and unplanned responsibilities.
- Analytical and conceptual skills and data/fact driven approach to problem solving.
- Influencing and communications skills including the ability to articulate ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Able to work collaboratively and flexibly across multiple time zones.
- Collaborating closely with the core HCM team located in London.
- Experience with SQL and relational databases.
- Experience with a common programming language like Java, C#, or Python.

- In California, the base salary is between $70,000 - $90,000 (USD); placement within this range will vary based on experience and skill level. L.E.K. also offers a performance bonus, profit sharing and other benefits.
