Your role
As the Head of Medical, Early Pipeline and Business Development, you will lead a team of medical affairs colleagues who work cross-functionally to develop and implement innovative medical strategies for early-stage Oncology assets. You will collaborate closely with research, clinical, and commercial teams to ensure alignment on key objectives, while also engaging with external stakeholders to enhance our understanding of market needs.
The purpose of this role is to establish and drive the Medical Unit Oncology strategy for early pipeline assets, building the clinical and patient value proposition and identifying associated evidence generation requirements and contribute to Business Development decision-making for potential asset acquisitions.
Who you are:
Minimum Qualifications
- You hold a medical degree and have 8+ years of relevant experience.
- You possess 5+ years of experience in related clinical practice.
- You have a proven track record in Oncology.
- You bring 5+ years of experience in senior leadership roles in Medical Affairs.
- You have experience working on business development projects, asset search and evaluation.
- You understand the role medical affairs can play in working with early pipeline assets.
- You have developed and executed medical evidence generation strategies.
- You are skilled in strategic planning and execution within the pharmaceutical industry.
- You have a strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance.
- You excel in building collaborative relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- You are passionate about advancing innovative therapies to improve patient outcomes.
