VA Central California Health Care System is currently seeking a full-time Hematologist/Oncologist.
The physician provides patient-centered care, delivered by engaged, collaborative teams in an integrated environment that supports learning and continuous improvement. The Veteran's experience and health outcomes are improved with an emphasis on prevention through healing relationships in an optimal healing environment.
The full-time HEM/ONC physician must have outstanding clinical and interpersonal skills as a member of the VA professional health care team and provide continuous veteran-centered care for a variety of medical ailments. This care includes but is not limited to assessment, diagnosis, treatment, laboratory, imaging tests, and follow-up evaluations, and management of all patients with cardiac diseases according to standard, usual and acceptable or customary methods and techniques.
Licensure: Full and unrestricted license from any US State or territory.
Expected salary ranges from $320,000 to $350,000 and may include up to $15,000 in Annual Performance Bonus. Candidates may be eligible for a Sign-on Bonus.
Tax Free: May be eligible to apply for the Education Debt Reduction Program and, if approved, receive up to $200k in school loan repayment Tax Free.
