Responsibilities
The Investment Banking Senior Business Analyst will support the COO Office of Societe Generale’s Americas Global Banking and Advisory department on day-to-day functions. As such, the candidate will be responsible for:
- Partnering with the Chief of Staff and COO on a broad range of topics, including but not limited to business development, communications, and project management. This includes gathering data, conducting research, analyzing information, preparing reports and making constructive recommendations;
- Collaborating with senior management and key stakeholders to define priorities and ensure alignment with organizational objectives. Facilitate regular communication and updates;
- Playing a lead role in shaping and delivering the department’s strategy, identifying growth, and driving transformative initiatives, interacting with all teams in the department to ensure successful delivery of transversal projects;
- Supporting initiatives to foster talent management across the department;
- Serving as a point of contact and liaison for internal stakeholders, representing the Chief of Staff and COO as needed and fostering positive relationships at all levels of the organization. Manage confidential and business critical information with discretion and professionalism.

Work experience
- 7+ years of experience working in financial services (Investment banking a plus), on project manager, COO or consulting roles;
- Prior experience working on strategic planning, optimizing and standardizing processes, resources allocation and client segmentation;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
Education requirement
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance or Economics.
Languages
- (Other than English) French is a plus but not required.
