Your Team Responsibilities: DUTIES:
MSCI, Inc seeks Vice President, Analytics Client Consultant in San Francisco, CA, to manage a book of clients with a focus on product usage, analytics support, and account renewal and retention.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Support clients by providing Best Practices guidance on risk management, portfolio construction and optimization.
- Own the client relationship and client experience through frequent on-site visits, virtual meetings and interaction.
- Proactively engage with clients to deepen the relationship across all levels of the client institution. Work with other MSCI teams to ensure that all client requests/inquiries are managed appropriately.
- Train and educate clients on MSCI risk and portfolio management analytics applications and underlying models and methodologies.
- Identify opportunities to increase client usage of MSCI products among new users and potential up-sell opportunities towards our existing client base.
- Inform the client of our product roadmap with a focus on the benefits of MSCI product development towards their business goals.
- Solicit and reflect client business and analytics requirements and the need to product management.
- Participate in workshops, seminars, and webinars.
Your skills and experience that will help you excel:
Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Finance, Mathematics, Mathematical Finance or related and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation: utilizing analytics models in investments process across client segments including Asset Owners, Asset Manager, and Hedge Funds; utilizing experience in market and liquidity risk analytics for risk management and regulatory risk reporting requirements; integrating risk management analytics in client portfolio management workflow; liaising with clients throughout product lifecycle to communicate development efforts; utilizing experience in relationship management in financial services industry. 15% travel required nationally. Telecommuting and/or working from home may be permissible pursuant to company policies. When not telecommuting, must report to work site. In the alternative the employer will accept a Master’s degree in one of the above-listed fields and two (2) years of experience in the above-listed skills.
