Position Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Value Consultant to join our team. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivering business value to customers in the software delivery space. They will also be well versed in communicating the business benefits of Harness’s software/solution at an executive level.
About the Role:
- Develop business cases and financial models to articulate the business value of a partnership with Harness to customers.
- Work closely with sales, marketing teams, and customer success to communicate the value of our solutions to prospective customers.
- Collaborate with customers to identify business outcomes that can be achieved through a partnership with Harness.
- Conduct executive-level presentations and workshops to communicate the business benefits of Harness’s solution.
About You:
- 10+ years of experience in the software delivery space with a clear understanding of the software delivery process, including Continuous Delivery, Continuous Integration, Software Reliability Management, Cloud Cost Management, Feature Flags, Security Testing Orchestration, and Software Engineering Insights.
- Develop a deep understanding of Harness software/solutions and its business value proposition.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of DevOps modernization efforts and the software delivery market as a whole.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate (often complex) qualitative and quantitative benefits of implementing a mature, world-class Software Delivery Life Cycle process at an executive level.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to develop business cases and financial models.
- Proven track record of delivering business value with software delivery at an executive level and the ability to demonstrate previous examples of these engagements.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business, Computer Science, or related field.

The anticipated base salary range for this position is $162,000 - $243,000 annually. Salary is determined by a combination of factors including location, level, relevant experience, and skills. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. The compensation package for this position also includes a commission/variable component, which is based on performance, plus equity, and benefits.
