Responsibilities:
- Reviews and evaluates reports of investigation, personnel files, and other records.
- Takes appropriate action to address areas of concern and to manage case through to completion of entire process.
- Coordinates with staff and persons internal and external to the agency to carry out the security activities.
- Utilizes advanced communication skills.
- Researches personnel security information using advanced technology as applicable.
- Analyzes data, and applies law, regulation, policy, and procedures commensurate with established requirements and with fair concern for equality and detail.
- Reviews and compares personnel security vetting forms in the intake process for completeness, accuracy, and requests additional information.
Qualifications:
- Minimum three (3) years of directly related experience performing administrative support in personnel security functions.
- Shall demonstrate proficiency in various types of information technology applications, such as Microsoft Office, including MS Word, Access, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Written and oral communication skills commensurate with position.
