About Us: St. Mary’s Neurology Associates/Covenant Health Care is a leading community hospital neurology practice located in Central Maine. We are committed to providing exceptional neurological care to our patients, encompassing a wide range of specialties including Epilepsy, Neurophysiology, Multiple Sclerosis, and General Neurology. Our clinic is equipped with advanced facilities including an EEG lab, an EMG lab, and a state-of-the-art MRI machine onsite.
Job Description
We are seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Adult Neurologist to join our growing team. This position is onsite in Lewiston, Maine and requires four days of work per week. The successful candidate will collaborate with our existing team of neurologists, bringing expertise in General Neurology, including stroke, headache, movement disorders, neuromuscular disorders, neuroimmunology, and epilepsy. Experience in EMG is preferable but not mandatory.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality neurological care to patients
- Collaborate with other neurologists and healthcare professionals
- Perform neurological assessments, diagnostics, and treatments
- Participate in departmental meetings and continuing education activities
Qualifications
- Board Certification or eligibility in Adult Neurology
- Valid medical license in Maine or eligibility to obtain one
- Strong clinical skills with a focus on patient-centered care
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a remote setting
