CentraCare is hiring casual Family Medicine Advanced Practice Providers (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) to work independently with patients primarily at our Paynesville clinic (coverage could be extended to Eden Valley and or Richmond). This position requires provider experience, and the ability to see and treat all age ranges.
Responsibilities
The provider will independently see patients of all ages for acute and chronic care needs. Our CentraCare – Paynesville clinic providers diagnose and treat short-term illnesses; provide preventive care including routine checkups, health-risk assessments, immunizations and screening tests; review lab results and plan course of action accordingly; offer personalized counseling and education on maintaining a healthy lifestyle; and manage and coordinate care for those with chronic illnesses.
You will have convenient access to the following services for your patients:
- Lab
- Imaging
- Diabetes Education
- Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapy
- Care Coordinators
- Pharmacy
Schedule
- Ability to pick up Monday through Friday day clinic hours
- OPTIONAL Saturday morning clinic
- No evenings, holidays, or call
Requirements
To be eligible for this position you must meet the following requirements:
- Completion of a formal nurse practitioner or physician assistant program approved by a national accrediting agency
- Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or a Physician Assistant
- Current or pending licensure in the State of Minnesota, licensed to see pediatrics through geriatrics
- BLS Certification
Experience
Applicants must have a minimum of two (2) years of provider experience in one of the following areas:
- Family Medicine
- Emergency Medicine
- Walk-In Clinic/Urgent Care
